Q: Tell us about your organization (who you serve, what you do, etc.)
Three Oaks Center is a human services organization providing an array of housing options and supportive services to homeless individuals, families, veterans and youth.
The “moment”, always, is observing the success of a family returning to productive, stable, independent life.
Q: What is your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge for Three Oaks Center is mustering up the skills it takes to inspire, ensure and motivate an individual to pull themselves out of a situation that appears insurmountable.
Q: Are there any upcoming events?
Yes. Three Oaks Center holds the following fundraising events throughout the year: the Friends Campaign (December), Jack Gelrud Memorial Golf Tournament (June) and the Harvest Ball Dinner, Dance and Live Auction (October).
Q: How can people get involved with your organization?
Individual persons can keep in touch by watching the Three Oaks Center website (threeoakscenter.org), donating, and volunteering your time, if that is something you can do. There are a variety of ways to be personally involved, from serving on Three Oaks Center’s Board of Directors to spending a couple of hours per week or month helping this sprawling and diverse organization. Join us at Three Oaks Center where we believe no one has to be homeless.
