As part of Community Banking Month, Community Bank of Tri-County was proud to join the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and community banks nationwide to highlight our efforts to make our neighborhoods a better place to work and live.
At Community Bank of Tri-County, giving back to the communities we serve is more than good business, it’s one of the core values we live by.
Here are just a few of the many ways Community Bank of Tri-County gives back to the communities we serve.
- Small business owners and entrepreneurs turn to us not just for business financing, but also for our advice and knowledge of the local marketplace.
- Members of our Community Corps volunteer their time and energy to help their neighbors in a number of ways throughout the year. In April volunteers sporting our distinctive red and white Community Corps t-shirts were seen at Touch a Truck to benefit The Center for Children, the King George Kids Healthy Day 5K, the Potomac River Clean Up and more.
- Community Bank’s focus on financial literacy begins with our Kids’ Club, the Green Team, which offers youngsters a fun way to start learning about earning, saving and sharing. For older students, our Financial Scholars program promotes financial literacy at high schools throughout Southern Maryland using the latest in new-media technologies.
- Local organizations are invited to use our free online Community Calendar to publicize their services and/or special upcoming events and activities.
We are proud to be a true community bank, invested in you and in the future of the community we all call home.
