Runners from Community Bank of Tri-County were on the roads recently, raising money for some of their favorite charities.
On October 15 a team from Community Bank ran in the 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk for Fun to support The Friends of Ripple. Proceeds from the race benefited the St. Mary’s Adult Medical Care, Inc, a program designed to meet the health care and social needs of adults with physical or cognitive challenges.
Runners from the Bank also participated in the 29th Annual Komen Maryland, Race for the Cure, held on October 23 in Hunt Valley. The 5K is the largest footrace in Maryland, with 75% of the money raised staying in the state to fund local programs for women and families impacted by breast cancer.
Congratulations to all of our runners on their great work!
